Get ready for an evening of laughter and mayhem as the Poplar Pike Playhouse presents its fall production Noises Off. Written by award-winning playwright Michael Frayn, Noises Off has been called the funniest farce ever written. The play opens on the Playhouse stage November 16 and continues to December 8.
Noises Off is a play within a play. The show moves from dress rehearsal, to backstage, to the final performance! The New York Times calls it, “The most dexterously realized comedy ever about putting on a comedy... A spectacularly funny...peerless backstage farce... This dizzy, well known romp is a festival delirium.”
The cast of Noises Off includes Stuart Downing, Brittany Flaherty, Kristina Hanford, Monica Hankins, Jarrett Holley, Johnnalee Kutzke, Jonathan Smith, Jacob Strong and Brandon Winfrey.
Graham Cooper is the director of Noises Off. The scenic designer is Lee Williams. The costume designer and graphic designer is Casey Smith. Ernest Newborn is the makeup designer. Joseph Haslwanter and Jack House are the technical directors. Courtney Smith is the costume and properties coordinator, the house coordinator is Allison Rogers and the business manager is Gail Ridenhour. Frank Bluestein is the producing director.

Noises Off opens at the Poplar Pike Playhouse on November 16 and runs through December 8. Tickets are $17 for adults and $14 for students and seniors. Tickets are on sale now.
The Poplar Pike Arts Guild, the support group for the Playhouse, will sponsor an opening night benefit on November 16. The price for this special performance and reception is $18 per person.
The Poplar Pike Playhouse is the theatre complex located on the campus of Germantown High School.
