  • The Poplar Pike Playhouse is a non-profit organization therefore, contributions are tax deductible to the extent the law will allow.
  • Donations may be designated as honorariums or memorials and may be directed to help support the Poplar Pike Playhouse or general support for the entire Fine Arts Department.
  • All donors and designated honorariums and memorials will receive appropriate notification of all gifts received.

Advertising Opportunities

  • Over 1500 area merchants and business professionals help to make the Poplar Pike Playhouse's musicals successful by advertising in the PPP souvenir playbook. This generous support helps the Playhouse to maintain the high standard of quality that the community has come to expect.
  • The playbook is distributed free of charge to over 4000 patrons. This year the Playhouse hopes to sell over $50,000 in advertisements. The money goes to support different programs throughout the year, including the Seth Matthew Rowan Memorial Endowment Fund, scholarship opportunities, guest artist grants, international arts camp funds, and a variety of theatre related projects that benefit both the students and the entire community

Poplar Pike Arts Guild

  • The Poplar Pike Arts Guild is a non-profit support group for theatre, visual arts, music and communications studies at Germantown High School. The Guild sponsors programs and projects to enhance and encourage the arts.
  • PPAG provides funding for scholarships, equipment, guest artists and special needs within the Fine Arts Department.
  • PPAG members are those who appreciate the importance of the arts in education. An active membership helps insure the continued growth of the fine arts program at Germantown High School.
  • The Poplar Pike Arts Guild needs you! Our membership is open to all and is comprised of community members, parents of both present and former students, teachers, alumni and arts patrons-anyone who supports the fine arts.

Germantown Fine Arts Foundation

  • The Germantown Fine Arts Foundation was founded in 2001. The mission of the Foundation is to provide continuing financial support for the growth and expansion of the programs of the Germantown High School Fine Arts Department (GHS CAPA).
  • The Germantown Fine Arts Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors. Its president is Dr. Lyle Muller. The Germantown Fine Arts foundation is a 501-C3 non profit organization and is chartered in the state of Tennessee.

The Seth Matthew Rowan Memorial Endowment Fund

  • In 1994 Seth Matthew Rowan, a tenth grader at Germantown High School, was tragically killed in a car/train accident. The Poplar Pike Arts Guild honors the memory of Seth through the Seth Matthew Rowan Memorial Endowment Fund.
  • The fund currently has principal assets of over $100,000. Through your support, the Endowment Fund will continue to grow.
  • Your contribution will allow the Fine Arts Department to be able to offer numerous quality arts experiences to the youth of our community and help us strengthen our commitment to sharing the love of the fine arts, a love exemplified by Seth.
